Welcome to Gula Stories! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our service. By accessing or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

Gula Stories is a mobile application that provides high-quality bedtime stories for children ages 3-8. We offer both a free version (with 5 free stories and preview pages on other stories) and premium subscription versions with unlimited access to our curated story library, multiple voice options, and ad-free experience.

2. User Accounts

• You may create an account through Apple ID. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy and security of your account information.
• Each account is for personal or family use only and you must not share account credentials with others.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Subscription and Payment

• Free Trial: New subscribers get a 7-day free trial on both iOS and Android. You are not charged during the trial. Cancel any time before the trial ends in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings and you will pay nothing. If you do not cancel, billing starts automatically when the trial ends. The exact terms shown in the App Store or Google Play at checkout will apply.
• Subscription Fees: Gula Stories offers a monthly auto-renewing subscription for USD $4.99/month and an annual auto-renewing subscription for USD $29.99/year.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions will automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) subscription settings. After canceling, you can continue using the service until the current billing period ends.

4. Usage Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of our content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the application's source code
• Use for any illegal purposes or violate any laws or regulations
• Interfere with or disrupt the security or functionality of the service

5. Intellectual Property

All content in the application, including but not limited to stories, audio, images, text, and software, is the intellectual property of Gula Stories or its licensors. These materials are protected by copyright law and other intellectual property laws. Our story library contains carefully curated stories with professional voice narration, with about 5 new stories added each month.

6. Content and Conduct Policy

• Every story and its images are reviewed by Gula Stories Team for the target age group and screened for sexual content, violence, discrimination, hate, racism, religious or political content, advertising, and other inappropriate material.
• We do not allow users to upload or share any content to the platform.
• If inappropriate use is discovered, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts.

7. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Service Changes and Termination

• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the service at any time without prior notice.
• We may regularly update the application to improve features and add new content.
• If the service is terminated, you will lose access to all downloaded content.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified through in-app notifications or email. Continued use of the service indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes should be resolved through friendly consultation, and if no agreement can be reached, should be submitted to courts with appropriate jurisdiction.
